Lets say that in the real toefl out of 56 questions i got 28 of them correct. What would my score be?
It is hard to explain the scoring system because different questions are given different score. For example, some questions are scored with 1 point and other questions are scored with 2 points and yet others have multiple right answers likewise table completion questions where one can deliver partially correct answers. So, there is no straightforward answer to your question. It is algorithm implemented that all answer choices are included with all their options. Once you complete the component the algorithm calculates your actual score on the basis on your response on every single question.

Hi Pepita56. There is raw score that depends on the type of the questions. And then when having the raw score it is transfered to toefl score using a table.

any aproximation? is it more then 14 on the reading section?
We don't want to do any approximation since it may be interpreted in the wrong way. Also, score may vary a bit, so any approximation may prove wrong. The algorithm is implemented within the system. Further, it is rare occasions that you get 5 reading passages in case you have so many questions to answer, as you mention 56 answer choices.
