Cant finish my test

Cant finish my test

Hello I have taken test today , but I cant finish it ...
I have already made reading and listening...
Listening was really very strange.... Becouse Timer didn't stop when it asked questions and so why I couldnt manage my last sentence....Anyway after it I faced more a big problem ... I couldnt record my voice to check it ... But my computer was showing that everything is ok .Furthermore , I took complete test 1 several days ago and everythink was cool.... But this is not end I decided continue but speaking section havnt begun yet ... It is already nearly 20 minutes.... What should I do????

P.S your reading and listening section are to comlicated and have a lot of options which are very simmilar ....

TOEFL practice test issues

Dear Gnarek,
1. In the actual test during the listening section timer isn't working only while the lecture/conversation are running but it is timing while the question is asked. So that, it is not a problem of the system rather it is a close match of what is the real TOEFL exam.
2. Indeed, answering options are very similar and that is true for the TOEFL exam. So, it is also not a problem of the system but it is to replicate the real test. Students have to be able to distinguish between options that are really close and still to be able to find the correct answer. That is why TOEFL is difficult exam. Do not expect on the real test that correct answers will be easily distinguished.
3. Recording the speaking - you can restart your machine because it is possible that either Java or Flash has crashed down and therefore you cannot record your answers. Another solution is to change your browser, try taking the tests with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for example. If it doesn't work, please let us know. I can ensure you that our system is working properly and it is up and running, so problems are not expected.

TOEFL listening part

Dear Gnarek,

We can see that you have finished your test now and everything seems to be OK. I want to ensure you once again that our system was stable and was working properly. The problem could have been a temporal crashing of Java or Flash software on your computer. We wish this this crash does not affect your experience with our TOEFL practice tests. Problems - No answers

We have been unable to restart students as the audio browser stops working. I have set the popups, added audio browser, opened it, done the system test and the audio setup test and passed fine. Repeated system tests show over 200 concurrent tests could be taken. But when a start students into the test, the audio browser fails, it says it lost connection. I repeated it it monitoring the network connection on another computer to pur firewall, to google.com, and to toeflpractice.ets.org and there was no delay at all, but failure occurred. It was in a lab with 2 users who were just trying to take the test.
We are running windows 8.1 pro, Chrome 39.0.2171.95, Avast Enterprise. You have no instructions as to what browsers are support, what is required (do you support Windows 8.1 professional), do you need java installed (no docs on it) or any other settings. the tester tried on Windows 7 sp1 machines for weeks and constantly failed. When I was finally called into it, you showed internet Explorer 6 in the graphic. BUT NO documentation. I do not allow even windows xp on our system and to show that as an acceptable browser shows something is way out of date.

Problems with TOEFL

Dear foxbox7,
I don't really understand if this question is related with our system or the ETS official test taking system - "toeflpractice.ets.org" - as you mentioned this is the ETS site and it has nothing to do with us. Please, for ETS support call or write ETS but not us.
